Aketa T-12C

It is the lowest key of Aketa Ocarina. It is a low-pitched instrument with one octave below the “T-5C “. The common name of T-12C is called as “Bass C”. T-12C is mainly used for the lower voice in ocarina ensembles. Owing to the attractive and deep voice, it is also used for solo sometimes.

Aketa T-38000XCL

It is new bass model that has the same range as the T-12C. It is light-weighted and easy to be used so it can be used as a solo instrument. (Build-to-order)

Aketa T-5C

It is most versatile model within Aketa ocarina family and an indispensable instrument for big live shows.
Its tone is bright and it is very suitable for solo. It is also suitable for ensembles and responsible for the inner part of an ocarina ensemble.

In the traditional models of Aketa ocarina, the so-called “lowest tone / la” finger hole is closed by the middle of the right index finger. In T-5CX , “lowest tone / la” is now changed to the position using the middle finger of the left hand.

AM-5C (New Amabile) is a new model that inheriting beautiful design from the previous model “Amabile”. It is a carefully crafted instrument that can produce a delicate and firm sound by gentle breath. Blowing feeling likes “S-5C” and the tone is similar to “T-5C”. The picture AM-5C (New Amabile) is a reproduction of the bird design of the previous model “Amabile” which was designed by Mr. Yoshinori Takahashi.

S-5C

Aketa S-5C

S-5C is specially designed version of T-5C for ladies. The finger hole has a protrusion and hence it can be easily covered ladies’ finger. Since its sound is soft, it is also suitable for ensemble.

It is the highest pitch in Aketa ocarinas. It sounds pretty like tweeting birds. It is used in solo.
Since it is the highest pitch, it gives most outstanding tone in the ocarina group.
